WCTN-950 test heard at 0013 ET with "AM 950 WCTN" jingle into "Midnight Train to Georgia" by Gladys Knight & the Pips. Getting hammered by pest WWJ.

Tried for the test in Central Alabama (Near Birmingham) with no luck. WGOV in Valdosta dominated the channel here.

Thanks to WCTN for the test, it's always fun to try. Next time I'd love to see Morse Code ID's and sweep tones added to the mix.

Heard the WCTN 950 test last night. Here's my details
005 EDT - "WCTN, Montgomery County" ID sung by FF, into "Do You Believe in
Magic" by Lovin Spoonful
009 EDT - song "Baby, Baby Fallin in Love Again"
010 EDT - ID again same as above without the Montgomery County
012 EDT - Lost signal under WWJ and WVTS
014 EDT - Song "Never Fall in Love Again", then ID "AM 950 WCTN" as sung by FF
again
016 EDT - "Midnight Train to Georgia", faded to poor and lost till another ID @
020 EDT, into male vocal 50's/60's song and lost them after that.
Overall good to fair, fading to poor or nonexistant over the half an hour. Mixing
with WWJ & WVTS etc.

Cheers
